This Is My Life

The ground under my feet is real. The air I breathe is real. The life is lead is surreal. That happens when adventure becomes something that fills every crack of your heart rather than something that creeps under the door to leave its droppings on your doormat from time to time.

Allow me to set the stage for this journey:

My home is a 1978 VW Westfalia named Dorothy (the engine's name is Toto) and whatever land she happens to be parked in. My security net is my own wit and know-how and the kindness of strangers. My partner in crime and love is a beauty named Laura. My name is Matt; this is my story.
